2024/2025 U.S. Foreign Policy

The course explores U.S. foreign policy, bridging political theory with the analysis of historical and contemporary challenges. It aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of what drives U.S. foreign policy, how it is made and implemented, and how American foreign policy has been applied globally, particularly in the European context. The course is designed to develop students' ability to explain the foreign policy-making process in the United States, its key principles, and traditions, while also introducing them to contemporary challenges in U.S. foreign policy, with a special focus on different geographic regions. Additionally, the course aims to strengthen students' public speaking and argumentation skills through presentations and debates.
