Neolithic. Students will learn to critically read, summarize, present, and write up a chosen topic. During this process, students will learn to design actual research problems, work with primary sources and archaeological literature, lecture presentation style, writing abstracts and bibliographies, and the parts of a scientific paper. The seminar focuses on the Neolithic in Central Europe during the 6th and 5th millennia BC, but students are allowed to explore topics outside of this focus.
